Mona Eltahawy condemns Muslim Brotherhood, celebrates her Brotherhood-endorsed vandalism

As Twitchy has reported, over the past week, Egyptian citizens have swarmed Tahrir Square to protest President Mohamed Morsi’s dictatorial power grab and the Muslim Brotherhood’s increasingly influential government presence. Cable news commentator Mona Eltahawy, who fancies herself a symbol of free speech, has been voicing her support for the protesters and calling attention to the Muslim Brotherhood push toward tyranny:

Today, she thanked the protesters for sticking by her in her righteous struggle:

In #Cairo last week I was so incredibly moved by fellow Egyptians who recognized me from spray painting. Their solidarity means world 2 me

It’s important to note that while Eltahawy is condemning Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood for their hostile takeover of Egypt, she is still congratulating herself for vandalizing a poster that condemned radical Islamist groups — like the Muslim Brotherhood. Her stunt even earned the Brotherhood’s praise. Naturally, Eltahawy has not addressed that little detail. Intellectual dishonesty prevents her from owning up to reality.
