‘Nailed it in advance’: Snark-elicious new angles on Hong Kong story

News people love to show connections between the major stories … even when they’re not there. It’s why every military engagement is the next Vietnam and every perceived scandal gets a catchy name with the suffix -gate attached to it.  In some cases they do it because they like to think that they have that much influence in the world, like today:  ‘Invented in Missouri’: Hong Kong protesters using Ferguson ‘hands up, don’t shoot’ gesture?
