Boom? Achieved! As Twitchy reported, Nancy Pelosi upped her usual absurdity by claiming that the cupboard is totally bare so nothing can be cut. Sarah Palin gave her the business as only she can.
Now citizens are basking in the shutdown schadenfreude. Nothing to cut, Pelosi? Oh, really?
The pre-shutdown scramble to be labeled an "essential" govt employee underway on Cap Hill. Wish I had $ to hire "non-essential" employees.
