What’s wrong with America? Elizabeth Warren thinks it’s that we’re not more like China
From Mass. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren’s latest campaign commercial:
“We’ve got bridges and roads in need of repair and thousands of people in need of work. Why aren’t we rebuilding America?” asks Ms. Warren, a professor at Harvard Law School who served in the Obama administration. “Our competitors are putting people to work, building a future. China invests 9% of its GDP in infrastructure. America? We’re at just 2.4%. We can do better.”
Assuming Warren’s numbers are true (a dangerous gamble, at best — what was the last number she gave us? 1/32?), maybe there’s a reason for those numbers besides “America sucks for not sprinkling more Obama cronies with taxpayer cash.”
Note to Liz Warren: China is spending 9% on "roads & bridges" because until recently they lived in the DIRT. #NoComparison

All those numbers and big words Warren used might be confusing folks. They’re asking a lot of questions:
Want to be like China? Elizabeth Warren says we should. On what planet does she reside? http://t.co/ERC4u0aO

@Jay_Severin does Lizzy Warren really believe comparing us to China is what a mass voter wants to become?

Maybe a simplified version of her message might help:
Elizabeth Warren Ad: I Will Do for You What the Communists Have Done for China – The Rush Limbaugh Show http://t.co/hfvonewr

But if we are to emulate China, why stop at bridges and roads?
Elizabeth Warren wants us to spend more of GDP on infrastructure, like the Chinese. China builds empty cities. We already have Detroit.

Then again, maybe we SHOULD emulate China:
So if Elizabeth Warren wants us to be more like China, then on a per capita basis I guess we should be cutting infrastructure spending.

On the other hand, perhaps there exists an even better role model than China that Warren is overlooking:
E Warren with an ad praising China, why doesn't she take a tour of N Dakota to see an economy grow, they are building the American way!

On the bright side, even if Warren isn’t elected in November, there’s still something she can do:
@tasteofaz Maybe Liz Warren and the O could go run for office in China and leave America to the capitalists?
